Warranty & ADP Information

Your Lenovo P16s Gen 1 Thinkpad is protected by 3 Year Depot or Carry-in warranty.

For additional protection, consider adding 4-year warranty with Accidental Damage Protection.

What is Accidental Damage Protection (ADP)?

Accidental Damage Protection is different from a Warranty in that a Warranty would apply to a malfunctioning unit. ADP would apply to an accidentally damaged unit that is no longer functional due to an accident that is covered under the plan.

Note: ADP claims are limited up to the value of the purchase price of the system or one replacement unit.

What is typically covered**?

Scope of Service. If the functionality of the Covered Product is impacted by an operational or structural failure caused by: (i) liquid spills on the keyboard, (ii) unintentional bumps or drops of the Covered Product from not more than fifteen (15) feet or five (5) meters, (iii) an electrical surge that damages the Covered Product's circuitry, or (iv) the failure of the integrated LCD screen, Lenovo will repair or replace (in its sole discretion) the Covered Product; provided, however, that the damage to the Covered Product is caused by accident and is unintentional. This Agreement covers components installed in your Covered Product at the time of purchase.

Example:

Your system accidentally slips off the table and the LCD Screen cracks.

The Coffee spills on the keyboard and the extent of damage is unknown.

What is not covered**?

Cosmetic damage, equipment loss or failures due to usage outside of normal operation conditions. Parts intended to be replaced or consumed (e.g. batteries). Any data loss or interruption of business, intentional damage and misuse, removal of alteration of parts, accessories, theft, damage from fires, flood, natural disaster, war, terrorism, acts of God or other events outside the reasonable control of the parties.

Example:

The outer case cracks but your system still operates effectively.

The system is used in the rain, and you lose an entire day of productivity because your PC no longer functions.

The stylus or battery is misplaced.

**The Accidental Damage Protection Service Agreement ("Agreement") is the complete agreement between you and Lenovo regarding accidental damage protection (the "Service") for the products specified in your invoice or order confirmation. It supersedes and replaces any prior oral or written communications between you and Lenovo regarding the Service. Any additional or different terms in any order or written communications from you shall be void and of no effect. Service purchased under this Agreement will be provided as described in this Agreement. The Service is available in the country or region in which you purchased your product. The Service may be available in other countries or regions at Lenovo's sole discretion on a reasonable efforts basis.

Order Lead Time & FAQ's

How long before I get my order?
Laptop orders typically ship in 3 – 5 business days. Avinext will send an order confirmation with an order estimated ship date. Avinext will send order tracking information as soon as it is available.

Why didn’t I receive an order confirmation?
Order confirmations are sometimes trapped by Spam filters on common email systems. Please check your spam filter for your order acknowledgement. If you still cannot find your order confirmation, please email us and we can send you another copy.

How do I get tracking information?
Avinext will email you once tracking information is available. The package is shipped with signature required so pay close attention to the expected delivery date so someone will be available to sign for the package.

Who can I contact about my order?
If you have any questions about your order email sales@avinext.com or contact Robert Abt at (979) 595-2799.

What is the return policy?
All returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee and require prior approval before returning. Returns must be received by Avinext within 30 days from the customer receiving the laptop. Returns must include all original documentation, discs, power cords, and power adapters. Any return missing all of the items original included with the laptop will be shipped back to the customer and the return canceled. To request a return authorization, contact Robert Abt at abt@avinext.com.

My credit card was declined. Why?
When an order is attempted in our online store, our credit card merchant will verify that sufficient funds are available for the purchase AND verify the billing address. If your transaction is declined it is likely because the billing address is incorrect. Check your credit card statement to verify the billing address matches what is entered in our online store. You may have sufficient funds and your bank may approve the charge, but our credit card merchant will deny the order if the billing address is incorrect. We do this additional verification step to help protect against online fraud.

The charge appeared on my credit card but then disappeared. Why?
When an order is placed in the online store we verify the card has enough credit to cover the amount of the transaction, but we do not capture (i.e. receive) funds immediately. Instead, we wait until the laptop ships to capture payment. For this reason, a charge may appear as pending for a while and then drop completely off your statement. If this happens, it does not mean that your order was canceled. We will capture the funds when we have confirmation the order has shipped to you.

Can I ship the laptop to Avinext and pick it up at your office?

College Station, Texas 77840
